Laboratory Testing: The company provides a full range of laboratory testing. As a BSI/UKAS accredited business all our laboratory methods are compliant with British Standards. We can facilitate most tests varying from traditional TVC tests, Yeast and Mould, Plate counts, Specifics, and Challenge work. By specialising in the testing of toiletries and cosmetics we can offer the client a more cost-effective and efficient service.

Hygiene Monitoring: We operate the latest in ATP Bioluminescence technology for the rapid testing of contamination at a clients facility. This enables us to identify levels of contamination within a matter of minutes and can therefore report back to the client almost instantly. Apart from the use of rapid identification we also use traditional swabbing, this, with our own laboratory, means we can report back to the client within an exceptionally short period of time (compared with traditional laboratories).

Training: Training programmes are tailor made to suit the requirements of the client. Areas usually covered are Basic Microbiology, Hygiene Awareness and Control, Good Manufacturing Practice, and Microbiological efficiency of Preservative systems.

Quality Assurance: Microbiological Solutions have recently received accreditation of their Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2000 from BSI/UKAS. Apart from our own system we are in a position to offer clients assistance in establishing their own quality system.
